The spot exchange rate provided by partner settlement banks is used in the WeChat Pay Cross-Border Service. When a buyer purchases a product from an overseas vendor, this spot exchange rate will be used to convert the foreign currency into CNY. The converted CNY amount will then be deducted from the buyer's account after confirming the transaction in WeChat Pay.
WeChat Pay supports "T+1" settlement mode and requires a minimum settlement amount of 800 USD or equivalent amount in other foreign currencies .It means that when transactions accumulate to the minimum settlement amount, Wechat Pay will settle the funds on the next working day to your registered bank account.
The remittance fees are shared by WeChat Pay and the merchant. WeChat Pay is responsible for the service fee charged by the remitting bank, other possible service fees charged by the intermediate bank or beneficiary bank (the bank where the your account is opened) are borne by ther merchant.
